Our Goal

CHC Group (hereinafter the Company) is committed to beyond compliance with local health and safety regulations; ongoing improvement in health and safety facilities; establishment of a safe, healthy, comfortable, and friendly working environment; and persistence of zero occupational injuries and zero accidents in the workplace. 

Applicable Scope

The Occupational Health and Safety Policy is applicable to all workplaces, workers, contractors, and stakeholders of the Company.

Our Actions

  • Comply with or exceed local health and safety regulations and reference global best practices: Ensure that all activities comply with, if not exceed, regulations; establish and promote the occupational health and safety management system; and continue to enhance its performance by comparing with global best practices 
  • Assess risk and opportunities: Conduct risk grading events and implement management mechanisms to reduce risk and eliminate hazards.  
  • Establish accountability and continuous education of employee physical and mental health: Implement physical and mental health enhancement plans such as annual health checks, free vaccination, employee assistance programs, employee therapy sessions etc. Conduct Emergency response drills, as well as, professional training to ensure necessary competencies such First aid, CPR, and AED. 
  • Commitment to continuous improvements: Adopt the P-D-C-A management cycle, establish quantitative performance indicators and goals, and regularly track the indicators to continuously improve the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the occupational health and safety management system.  
  • Engage in employee communication: Facilitate open communication channels to encourage active participation of employees and employee representatives in consulting, negotiating, and decision-making regarding the Company’s safety and health affairs.
