First presented recognized by the “CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award” and“Family-Friendly Workplace Award”, Chia Hsin Cement Group has kept moving forward on the path of sustainable development

The 2023 “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” has just released its top 100 list, and Chia Hsin Cement Group is honored to receive this recognition for the second time. This year, we ranked up by five positions and showed our commitment to sustainability across four areas: company governance, corporate dedication, social engagement, and environment sustainability. Meanwhile, we stood out among 209 companies to be awarded the inaugural “Family-Friendly Workplace Award”. This accolade is a testament to our efforts in promoting a healthy work-life balance for employees and our outstanding achievements in fostering a supportive work environment. Furthermore, we even received high praise from the judges for our dedication to transparent governance, friendly workplace and talent development, leading us to our selection among top 50 companies for “CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award”.

In these years, we have placed special emphasis on the pivotal role of strengthening partnership in our sustainable development roadmap. Through people-oriented core value, we are committed to create a friendly workplace characterized by diverse, equity, and inclusion (DEI), enabling our employees to balance between their family and workplace. By doing so, we believe that not only can we enhance job satisfaction, but elevate overall work performance. Here are our key commitments:

  • Implementing flexible working hours and canceling make-up days policies, allowing our employees arrange their own time and promoting work-life balance
  • Maintaining the remote work mode established before the pandemic to save employees’ commuting time and enable them to work comfortably from home
  • Encouraging employees to engage in on-the-job learning, fostering a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Offering employees’ children scholarships and childcare subsidies, devoting to address the declining birth rate phenomenon in Taiwan.
  • Enhancing our parenting support program, we offer childbirth incentives for each birth. Including a mother’s gift package, prenatal courses at the “Gemcare Maternity Center” as well as special employee discounts on maternity care and postpartum catering services, we provide meticulous care for our staff.
  • Organizing “CEO Afternoon Tea” events to establish a two-way communication channel between top executives and frontline employees.
  • Implementing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide maximum support for employees at the psychological level
