Our Sustainable Development Strategy
After completing the greenhouse gas inventories in 2023, Chia Hsin Cement Group officially passed the greenhouse gas near term reduction target verification of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024. Chia Hsin Cement Group commits to reduce scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions. We will promote the introduction of green energy to demonstrate our determination to reduce carbon emissions.
