Calcination (Heating) and Cooling
The blended raw meal
is transported by pneumatic conveyor and belt elevators to the kilns,
where reinforced suspension pre-heaters are used to achieve a high
degree of calcinations (oxidization of the calcium carbonate) before
the raw meal enters the rotary kilns. In the rotary kilns, the
preheated raw meal is completely calcined and finally sintered (or
crystallized ) at 1,450℃ to form clinker. The company uses dry or
semi-dry process rotary kilns which have the advantage over the wet
process of large savings in heat consumption as well as increasing
output.

Clinker Grinding
From the clinker silos,
the cooled clinker is mixed with gypsum and other additives fed into
the grinding mills to produce various types of cement. The finished
cement is pumped into cement silos.
